The SCMRS is a nonprofit public benefit corporation, which was organized to provide learning opportunities in model railroading and the history of railroading in Sonoma County and the Western United States, through active participation in the research, construction, operation and display of a model railroad layout in HO scale. Our organization strives to advance the hobby of model railroading, and the methods of building and operating prototype model railroad equipment through group meetings, work sessions, open houses, public shows and youth participation activities.
